AIMS and OBJECTIVES:
To contribute to the education of young people through a values system based
on the scout/Guide promise and law to build a better world where people are
self-fulfilled as individuals and play constructive role in a society.
The scout /Guides stated objectives are considered to be its four pillars1) The formation of character
2) The formation of sound health habits
3) The training in the handicraft and the acquiring of useful skills.
4) The cultivation of a proper spirit of service efficiently.
This process will inculcate good citizenship skills in them.
ACTIVITIES:
PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Army Area Pune is a school that creates different platforms
for the holistic development of students and their advancement at
different levels. Among the activities for holistic development of students
at this level, Scout/Guide is one of the activities undertaken at the
Vidyalaya level. Scout/Guide activities in PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Army Area Pune is
conducted in two sections one is primary section (CUBS/BULBULS) and
second is in secondary section (SCOUTS/GUIDES). Cubs /Bulbuls activities
in the primary sections are conducted under this movement in which the
students are taken through their various steps from PRAVESH to
CHATURTH CHARAN to complete of their various badges. In the secondary
section, the scout/Guide movement is conducted at the school level by
the students from class 6th to 10th, who complete the curriculum in
different ways. Scout/guide movement registration is done annually for
scouts who are interested in joining the movement. Well trained all
scout/Guide teachers take their students classes regularly every week.
Scout camps for scouts /Guides students are also organized at the school
level. A tent making competition is organized among them and the skills
of the students are showcased. Trekking programs are also organized at
the school level to provide scope for student’s development. Scout/Guide
students are trained at the school level and teachers also take them to
outside schools for TRITIYA SOPAN TESTING CAMPS and RAJYA PURASKAR
TESTING CAMPS and further Puraskar testing camps competitions and
thus complete the SCOUT/GUIDE curriculum of the students. SCOUT GUIDE movement is a progressive movement in PM Shri KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA
ARMY AREA, PUNE which is working to promote the holistic development of students
