Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Army Area (KV Army Area) in Pune, India was established in 1985 in Army barracks and moved to its current location in 1993. The school is located on a 15-acre hill behind MH-CTC, away from the city. It is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
