The Career Assessment Program, Career Guidance Workshops for Parents & Students
The Career Assessment & Career Guidance Program : Grade 9, 10 & 11 (Science & Commerce)
Months of September – October 2024.
At the same time, workshop for teachers and parents were also conducted. This entire program was conducted by Mrs. Rupali Mitra (Counsellor) and Mr. Rupendra R Meshram, PGT (Computer Science)
Choosing the right career for oneself is the most important decision in any individual’s life. Career planning starts in the secondary and senior secondary school years. An adequate understanding of oneself regarding academic potential, attributes, talents, interests, personality, values, expectations and resources is very useful in this process.
In the Career Assessment program, about 168 students of this KV, underwent Psychometric Assessment in the areas of Aptitude, Intelligence & Interest, total 8 Tests, spanned over 4 hours. The students were divided in 4 batches for the ease of conduction of the Assessment.
Post the testing, a copy of the Career Guidance report was given to each student for future reference.
Subsequently, a detailed explanation of the reports and information on the plethora of careers across different streams was given to the parents and students in the Career Guidance Workshops conducted for them by Mrs. Rupali Mitra.
